Is Stoplight dead after SmartBear's acquisition?
Originally posted by user rdean to the Stoplight Community on 01/05/2024 at 08:47 ET. I haven't seen any real activity since the acquisition and I fear the worst. I truly hope not as Stoplight is far superior to any other openapi tool I've come across.Solved53Views0likes3CommentsIs Stoplight Studio defunct?
Originally posted by user Stokestack to the Stoplight Community on 04/02/2023 at 20:34 ET. Hi all. I just launched Studio for the first time in a while and allowed it to update. Now upon launch it presents a log-in screen, which demands a "Stoplight instance URL" if you select "on premise." I can't find an explanation of what that's supposed to be. Anyone? Thanks.Solved35Views0likes3CommentsGetting "Stoplight Studio quit unexpectedly" when trying to open up Stoplight Studio

Not much info in the crash report that I can consume but happy to share it here if someone thinks that will be useful. Something in the logs may be of use: CODE SIGNING: "Stoplight Studio" vm_map_protect can't have both write and exec at the same time This is with version 2.10.0 Update 5 which should be the latest34Views0likes0CommentsQuotable API - Search Quotes returns only empty result
Originally posted by user Nils.bmgrtnr to the Stoplight Community on 04/03/2023 at 11:11 ET. Hi All, I want to use the Search Quotes Request and last Friday the API worked fine but now it only returns an empty result Array as if there were no quotes to the search query. Is this a known problem that will be fixed? Thanks.Solved28Views0likes2CommentsProject Authentication
Originally posted by user Emir to the Stoplight Community on 08/21/2023 at 04:01 ET. Hi, I'm new on Stoplight so I'd like to ask a question regarding the projects. Can private projects use authentication? We have an internal case that we require registration and login to see project API and documentation. Is that possible? Users should only view the documentation. How to do that?Solved22Views0likes1CommentRevert to previous git commit

Hi all, we unfortunately made a mistake and wiped out a whole api definition, is there any way to revert our files to a previous commit on the basic plan? Couldn't find any way to view or edit the git history.17Views1like1CommentStoplight Credential Creation
Originally posted by user brad.samuels to the Stoplight Community on 09/06/2023 at 20:58 ET. Is there a way that we can allow specific users to use our Stoplight docs in order to create their credentials if they do not receive an email prompt? We have had several customers say that they have not received invite emails from us, and we are looking for a solution outside of their email (eg. going to a specific page where they can create credentials). Noting that we still would prefer that we can select which customers are able to request access (rather than allowing all customers to request access via Stoplight). I hope that this is making sense.Solved16Views0likes1CommentNew Domain Setup
Originally posted by user brad.samuels to the Stoplight Community on 11/04/2022 at 01:30 ET. Hi, I am currently looking at creating a custom CNAME DNS entry for my Stoplight documentation and cannot find anything in the docs around domain redirections. I can see the Redirections page covers path redirections, but doesn't mention anything about the domain redirections. What I am hoping to find out: If my domain was example.stoplight.io and was updated to be docs.example.com, when a customer visits example.stoplight.io, will they be redirected to docs.example.com or experience an Error 404?Solved16Views0likes3CommentsPossible to set custom code samples for Request Samples?
Originally posted by user Alexi - Work to the Stoplight Community on 08/29/2023 at 15:28 ET. Hello, I am currently evaluating Stoplight against a few alternatives for OpenAPI documentation. Currently, it looks like all of the examples in the code sample section are set to make HTTP calls in the given language. The product we would be documenting, however, will have it's own SDK, and we'd like any displayed code samples to reflect that usage. Rather than showing how to make an HTTP call in the selected language, we'd like to provide idiomatic examples that leverage our SDK instead. Is it currently possible to do so in Stoplight? I didn't see anything in the docs, but may have missed it. If not, is it possible to disable the code samples altogether? We may prefer not to show anything if we can't customize them.Solved12Views0likes2Comments
