Darn. I was afraid of that. I guess I must have dreamed that the check box existed. Oh well, thanks for the reply!
May be you mean "Simplified WPF object tree" project option? You can find it in Project properties/Open Applications/WPF page.
- tristaanogre8 years agoEsteemed ContributorI learned something new! Thanks, Bobik! I haven't in my experience worked a lot with WPF controls so I wasn't aware that such an option existed. Good to know!

Yes, I am aware of that option as well, especially since the apps I am testing were built with WPF and Telerik WPF controls. Alas, but that's not what I remembered/dreamed/hallucinated/etc. Wish it were though...

If you do find such an option, I'd love to know about it!
A lot of the upfront work in creating good Aliases is stripping out the parts of the locator which are not obviously relevant to an end user. Which, as you say, tends to be a lot of container panels and such used to build the display.
The other part that takes time being renaming things to make it all more legible.
But if we can auto-hide the invisible bits, I'd be all over it! (None of my stuff is WPF based ...)
