Change a projects directory

I recently started working on an already existing project. Upon digging in some random files in the project I found out that a lot of the project names and project folders don't line up. Example: Project A's code is actually stored under C:\...\Project B\Project A.mds. This is happening a lot. Is there a way to edit the folder path for a project?

I attached a photo in case my example wasn't clear. Note how the file name matches the project name, but if you look at the directory containing the project, it doesn't match. (Not a problem for the first two items which is why they're crossed out.)

  • Hi Michael,

You can remove a project from the suite without deleting the project files (choose Remove, not Delete), rename the folder containing the project and then add the project to your suite again.

I have registered a suggestion to rename the folder containing a project when the project is renamed. Thank you.
  • David,

Please increment this request by one. I'd like to see this functionality as well.

    Thanks,

    Chuck
  • Is there any chance of this being implemented soon? Changing the name of a project any other way is just too time consuming and tedious to do it for large projects.
