Hi Mahesh,
> Can we possibly alter Sys.UserName during runtime [...]?
Sure, you can. Use the RebootAndContinue() function to reboot and login as some other user. As the Sys.UserName is expected to return the name of the currently logged-in user, it will change its value if you login as another user.
P.S. My guess is that your actual need is somewhat different...
Alex yes thats right. We cannot login to another user. However the admin guys can pass parameters as run time. I cannot reboot.

Hi Manesh,
Not sure I understood... Could you please elaborate?

Hi,
They will not allow us to reboot, it will be a security issue. I would however manage to get only the username as parameter and I need to force the application to think that its a different user - as I guess SSO login picks up the browser username from the application directly. This username would have different sets of access - to the application than what we have with the atcual login.

I guess you are talking about Login As Different User functionality. Check with developers for Login as Diff User URL and try to launch with that.
