How restrict a checklist to the Author?

Hi,   In a template, I am trying to add a checklist that only the Author should be able to check before the "launch" of the review. It should be visible to Reviewers (but not updatable by them).  ...

Unfortunately, you cannot restrict access to the checklist, all participants can toggle item values. However, we do have an audit trail on it, so that you can see who clicked a specific item.
